Capital and Infrastructure Services

The five-year capital plan that is submitted each year to Aboriginal and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) is derived from past and current SFN membership input, operational concerns and future capital development. The plan identifies all construction projects for Snuneymuxw such as water and waste-water systems, storm systems, road-works, foreshore works, new housing and housing renovations and future building developments, such as new schools, health center and a community wellness center.

The five year capital plan serves as a planning tool and is structured to present a meaningful perspective of Snuneymuxw First Nation’s short-range and long-range needs.

Future projects include improvements to environmental concerns, SFN community health, future growth, feasibility and sustainability.
