On April 4th, the Snuneymuxw Marine Division hosted the “SFN Marine Division Nanaimo River Restoration & Rebuilding Plan Update & Dinner”, at the SFN Gym. It was wonderful to gather with community members, share updates on restoration efforts, and hear your concerns and ideas. using visual counts, wildlife cameras, sonar, and drones to build baseline estimates of pinniped abundance.
