Students from Quam Quam School in Niki Wendholm’s class took part in a 3-day anti-bullying workshop put on by the Mental Health Staff at SFN.
They learned how to stop bullying and what to do if they see others being bullied. Each student was awarded with a certificate for their great work in making Snuneymuxw a safer and friendlier community.
Congratulations to these future citizens, who we know will help create a kind and respectful community!

I would like to take this time to say a big thank you to my niece Wanda Good for putting up the Loonie Toonie Auction for Troy’s graduation trip to the Dominican Republic. I would also like to say thank you to Nancy Seward from the Education Department.
For all their assistance, I would also like to thank my friends and relatives who donated towards the Loonie Toonie Auction, most of all to the people who spent their money to make this event a success. If I missed anyone I am sorry.
We are so lucky to live in a community that cares so much. Sometimes you think you are alone, then an event like this happens and makes everything so much easier. So with everything Troy’s trip is paid for. I am sure Troy’s going to have the time of his life. This is going to be the first trip abroad by himself. Again thank you so much, Troy is the first of all our boys to graduate. So we are very proud of our great grandson, Troy Good.
