NOTICE OF POLLS

Notice is hereby given that a poll will be held to elect five (5) Councillors

DATE: December 12, 2015

TIME: 9:00 am-8:00 pm

LOCATION: SFN Administration Building, 668 Centre St., Nanaimo, BC

An Advance Poll will be held December 5 at 9:00 am-8:00 pm at the SFN Administration Building, 668 Centre St., Nanaimo, BC.

Please be advised that an elector may vote in person at the polling station in lieu of voting by mail-in ballet.

The votes will be counted immediately upon the close of polls.

The results will be declared immediately following the count.

NOTICE OF CANDIDATES FORUM

Notice is hereby given that a Candidates Forum will be held:

DATE: November 26, 2015

TIME: 5:00 pm-9:00 pm

LOCATION: SFN Administration Building, 668 Centre St., Nanaimo, BC

Properly nominated and declared Candidates in the election are invited to speak in the Candidates Forum.

The Candidates Forum is open for all SFN members to attend.

Candidates will be given three (3) minutes to make a presentation followed by an open question period and a one (1) minute summation by each Candidate.

The Snuneymuxw First Nation Election has been set for December 12th, 2015. 

Advanced Polling for the SFN Election will be December 5th at 9:00 am-8:00 pm in the Chief and Council Chambers.

Regular voting will be December 12th at 9:00 am-8:00 pm in the Chief and Council Chambers. 

Mail-in ballots will be ongoing as per the process managed by the electoral officer, Marcus Hadley.

Nomination Meeting was held on Thursday, November 5th.
