Improperly Disposing of Animal Carcasses
There has been an alarming amount of fresh carcasses improperly or deliberately disposed of or nearby homes around I.R. #1, 2, 3 and 4.
Please help us keep an eye out for whom ever is doing this. It is a great safety concern to our community members as spring is here and the bears are out of hibernation.
Unlike cougars, bears are omnivores and have a variety of foods to sustain them in the wild. Carcasses being dumped along with the smells of household garbage will lure them in. Please secure garbage cans properly.
