Return of the Salmon BBQ on Newcastle Island

Come enjoy unique storytelling, a 2 hour nature walk, the First Nation’s dance group, dugout canoe rides and a traditionally cooked sockeye salmon BBQ demonstration and dinner

Hear stories of  Snuneymuxw First Nations history and what our people use to do on Newcastle Island. Followed by a nature walk talking about the traditional medicines we still use to this day.

BBQ Sockeye Salmon (Sce:lhtun)

Double Baked Potatoes (Sqewth) with sour cream

Baby Greens Salad

Seafood Chowder with clams, prawns and salmon

Traditional Scow Bread and Fresh Berry Jam
