SFN is in active negotiations with the federal government of Canada aimed at returning the control of K-12 on-reserve education to the local community. When an agreement is reached, SFN will have up to 3 years to "pilot" Jurisdiction,; however it will not have committed to it until the agreement is ratified by a community vote. This is an important change to educational governance and it WILL require your input.
